Help Us Raise $3,000 for LGBR
Your support helps Ladies and Gents of the Blue Ridge Transgender Alliance (LGBR) continue building a stronger, safer, and more connected community for transgender and nonbinary people throughout the Blue Ridge region.
LGBR provides community support, education, advocacy, outreach, and resources while also helping create opportunities for transgender and nonbinary people to connect with one another and find safe, welcoming spaces.
Your donation also helps make some of our community’s most important annual events possible. Each year, LGBR organizes Roanoke’s Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) and Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) events. These gatherings provide opportunities to celebrate trans lives and accomplishments, remember those we have lost, and bring our community and allies together.
Our work also extends through partnerships with organizations and programs serving our community. LGBR supports programming and safe spaces through partnerships with SPOT, QSPACE, Youth SAGA, and Diversity Camp. These partnerships allow us to help ensure that people of all ages have places where they can connect, build community, and be supported.
Our goal is $3,000.
Every contribution, regardless of size, helps LGBR continue this work. Your donation helps us keep community programs running, support our partner organizations, create meaningful events, and ensure that transgender and nonbinary people have access to safe and affirming spaces.
